Dr. Wonkyu Pak graduated summa cum laude and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Harvard University in 1981. He was also invited to be a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious honor society in the United States. He then pursued his medical education at College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, where he was selected to be a part of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He went onto interning with UCLA - San Fernando Valley Program. Afterwards, Dr. Pak completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the renown UCLA/Jules Stein Eye Institute.
Dr. Wonkyu Pak established his private ophthalmology practice in 1989 in Koreatown, Los Angeles where he believed the medical need was high. He has since performed over sixteen thousand advanced eye surgeries, bringing a wealth of experience and a humble heart to serve patients. Dr. Pak is known as one of the most excellent eye physicians and surgeons in the Los Angeles area for over twenty-five years. After his return from a short sabbatical, he has started a new practice named Bethel Eye Center Medical Corp.
Andrew Lee, M.D. Ophthalmologist
Dr. Andrew Lee graduated cum laude with Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at UCLA. He was invited to be a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious honor society in the United States. He then went on to obtain his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, formerly known as North Shore-Long Island Jewish. Dr. Lee continued and finished his fellowship at UCLA - Jules Stein Eye Institute in Cornea/External Disease & Refractive Surgery. Dr. Lee is married to his wife and has two adorable children. On his free time, he likes to create memories with his family. His hobbies include exercising, travelling, and learning new instruments.
